Dr. Fritz Solms has a PhD in Theoretical Physics from the University of Pretoria and lectured in Applied Mathematics at Rand Afrikaans University, South Africa, for five years where he and Professor Steeb started the International School for Scientific Computing (ISSC). The ISSC was the first organization is South Africa offering courses in Java and UML modeling.
Solms Training and Consulting focuses on vendor neutral training and consulting services around organizational and systems architecture, technology neutral business process modeling and implementation mapping of technology neutral business process designs onto the technologies and infrastructure as specified by the enterprise architecture. Solms is the originator of the URDAD methodology for technology neutral business process design.
Traditional clients include the financial, insurance, telecommunication, energy and defense sectors. Solms focuses on open standards and non-proprietary technologies and methodologies. |
